It’s a new day, and I don’t know about you, but I think my heart could use a break… It seems like I’ve been trying too hard and feeling too much and just need to pause for a while and remember who embodies the calm in the storm. And as much as I love writing this blog and honor our time together during this season of Lent, I think maybe today it’s not about me finding the right words or leading us into the new day with a devotional thought….
I think maybe today it’s just about remembering who I love with all my heart – the one who “never grows weary and stays to the end” through each and every conflict, heartache, fierce storm and failure.
Maybe today it can just be about Jesus…..just Jesus.
So this is the remedy I think our hearts may need on Day 25….
For just a moment, rather than spend our time learning about him and fashioning our lives after him…let’s just spend some time with him…
Press play on this beautifully intimate song by Melissa Helser (or choose one of your own…) and enjoy some of my very ordinary photos of the extradinaory beauty that only God could design, or just close your eyes and rest your heart in the presence of peace…of calm…of love….of Jesus.
And tomorrow we’ll learn some more together….today let’s just worship, OK?
So much love,
Shellie ♥
Beautiful Jesus

Hey Jesus, won’t You come and dress me in Your thoughts
Pick out Your favorite ones I’m holding out my heart
You cover gray, empty space with color from Your well
Deep love is pouring out and filling up my shell
Beautiful Jesus, My glorious friend
The One who never grows weary and stays till the end
Oh how I love You, I cannot begin to say
All of the reasons that I love to sing Your name
Holy Spirit, won’t You come and cover me in light
Illuminate the dark space with color yellow bright
Like the stars coming out and filling up my night
The glory of Your promises, You make wrong things right
You make wrong things right
Beautiful Jesus, My glorious friend
The One who never grows weary and stays till the end
Oh how I love You, I cannot begin to say
All of the reasons that I love to sing Your name
Beautiful Jesus, My glorious friend
The One who never grows weary and stays till the end
Oh how I love You, I cannot begin to say
All of the reasons that I love to sing Your name
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Jesus
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Oh, how I love You
Jesus
I love You, no one’s like You
Keeper of my heart
Beautiful Jesus
I love You, no one’s like You
Keeper of my heart
Beautiful Jesus….
